Discover the project’s testimonial photos book

The first deliverable presented by the project is the testimonial photos book, which highlights the testimonies collected around the GINKGO project’s focus on the isolation of older adults.
On the French side, we had the opportunity to meet Annette from Urrugne, Marie-Eder from Iholdy, and Angèle from Banca. Each of them, through their personal journey and life experience, shared their perspective on isolation—whether geographical, social, or relational—as well as the resources, aspirations, and possible pathways they envision to overcome it.
As Annette puts it: “Get involved somewhere, go to a senior centre, but above all, don’t stay alone.”
Their testimonies provide valuable insight into the realities of the territory and into the possible levers for strengthening social ties and fostering greater inclusion. Additional testimonies from Spanish and Italian regions can also be discovered in this photobook.
Many thanks to all those who took the time to share their experiences and contribute to this collective reflection on isolation.
